Yes. The excursion schedule is planned around Westerdam’s expected arrival and departure times. Pickup, sightseeing, and the return journey are carefully timed so you can enjoy your day ashore while allowing sufficient time to return to the port.

Your guide and driver will meet you at the designated port pickup point after Westerdam arrives. Detailed meeting instructions and contact information are provided before the excursion, making it easy to locate your tour team after disembarkation.

Yes. Solo travelers are welcome to join our shared and small-group excursions. It is a convenient way to explore Vietnam with other travelers while enjoying organized transportation and the support of a local guide throughout the day.

Cruise schedules can sometimes change due to weather, port conditions, or operational requirements. Our local tour team monitors the ship’s schedule and can coordinate pickup and tour timing accordingly. Any significant changes can be discussed with the tour team before the excursion.

Booking in advance is recommended, particularly for popular sailing dates and small-group tours. Early booking gives you more choice of itineraries and helps ensure that transportation, guides, and port pickup arrangements are properly coordinated.

Many itineraries are suitable for older travelers, although activity levels vary between tours. Some excursions involve more walking or stairs than others. If you have specific mobility requirements, mention them when booking so we can recommend an itinerary that suits your needs.

If you have dietary preferences (e.g., vegetarian meals) or medical concerns, please inform us in advance.

We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your shore excursions; however we realize that there are many valid reasons that this can happen. In the event of cancellation we will refund any payment made to Vietnam Shore Excursions (less any cancellation fee that is applicable) within 14 days of our receipt of your written cancellation request.

The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:

• More than 40 days prior to trip departure: 10% of the deposit paid is non-refundable. This will be saved for your next trip with us. The rest of the deposit paid will be refunded (bank fee levied by your end)
• 40 – 30 days prior to trip departure: 35% charged of the deposit paid
• 29 – 15 days: 50% charged of the deposit paid
• 14 – 10 day: 75% charged of total amount
• Less than 10 days or No show: 100% charged of total amount

After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your willingness, early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.
