Danang shore excursions introduce a unique attraction: My Son Sanctuary. Escape the traffic with horn-blasting motorbikes to explore My Son Sanctuary and hear the birds sing. Admire the mysterious ancient ruins of a once blooming capital under the Cham civilization dating from the second century. Consisted of about seventy towers and temples with distinct Hindu architecture, My Son is considered to be one of the best-preserved Cham structures in Vietnam.
Meet your tour guide and driver upon pickup at port entrance gate, and begin your journey with a 45-minute drive on your comfortable private van to Hoi An town. Along the way, stop to visit some captivating landmarks such as Marble Mountain, Non Nuoc Beach, Cham Museum in Da Nang City.
Located 69km to the southwest of Da Nang and 75km away from Hoi An, My Son Holy Land flourished as an imperial city under the rule of Cham dynasty. Upon arrival, explore Tra Kieu Capital, the former administrative center of Champa Kingdom. Then wander around My Son Sanctuary where the trees are intertwined among the ruins, creating a surreal atmosphere. Your guide points out distinctive features of the architectural works as well as the bomb crater left over from the Vietnam war.
Afterward, head back to Hoi An town for lunch. Spend the rest of your day strolling through the streets lined with small boutique shops and try out your bargaining skills.
