Day 1 – Nha Trang to Ho Chi Minh City: Coastal Scenery & Local Life

Your English-speaking guide will meet you at Cam Ranh Port with a welcome sign and begin your journey south from Nha Trang toward Ho Chi Minh City. Rather than simply traveling between two destinations, this first day offers an opportunity to discover a quieter side of Vietnam through coastal landscapes and authentic local life on Nha Trang shore excursion.

Visit a local fishing village to experience the everyday world of Vietnamese fishermen. See colorful fishing boats, seafood farms, and peaceful coastal scenery while learning about the communities whose lives are closely connected to the sea.

Continue to the traditional salt fields, where you can observe local salt-making activities and discover one of the most distinctive agricultural landscapes along Vietnam’s central coast. The experience provides an interesting glimpse into traditional rural livelihoods and the country’s coastal heritage.

Enjoy a scenic drive along the coast, with opportunities to admire countryside landscapes, fishing communities, and local life along the way. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing your journey south via the expressway toward Ho Chi Minh City.

Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, you will be transferred to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

Day 2 – Ho Chi Minh City Tour & Cruise Port Drop-off

After checking out of your hotel, meet your guide and continue your Ho Chi Minh City shore excursion, beginning with the War Remnants Museum. Discover Vietnam’s wartime history through photographs, exhibits, and historical artifacts, offering an important perspective on the country’s modern history.

Continue to the Reunification Palace, a landmark closely associated with the history of South Vietnam and the end of the Vietnam War. Then explore the city’s French colonial heritage with photo stops at Notre Dame Cathedral and the nearby Central Post Office, one of Saigon’s most impressive colonial-era buildings.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Ben Thanh Market, if time permits. Browse the lively market, discover local products, or simply experience the atmosphere of one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks.
