FULL ITINERARY

This one-day Ho Chi Minh city cruise excursion from cruise port will give you an insight into the daily life of local people in the Mekong Delta. We suggest you visiting My Tho, the nearest destination in the Mekong River, rather than Vinh Long. If your cruise dock for the whole day, you can also arrange it from Phu My Port in Vung Tau. Contact your tour advisors and they will help you plan a suitable itinerary.

Be picked up by our driver and tour guide at the port entrance gate. Start your Phu My shore excursion with a drive to My Tho, located in the Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam and enjoy an interesting boat trip on Tien Giang River which is very popular to tourists. You will also have many short boat trips to various islands before heading to the Vinh Trang Pagoda. In there, you can admire the beautiful architecture featuring a mixture of Vietnam, Chinese, and Khmer style. The splendor structure is created by the art of inserting bottle and porcelain fragments, along with lines of harmonious pictures illustrating the Buddha’s life stories.

After that, we will take a boat ride to visit local homes and orchards, a coconut candy workshop, as well as a honeybee farm. Get a glimpse of farming life in the rural areas of the prosperous Mekong Delta. Next, we embark on a sampan ride through palm-shaded creeks, taking stops along the way to taste seasonal fruits, honey tea, and enjoy a performance of traditional Southern singing.
