Your English-speaking guide will meet you at the Phu My Port with a welcome sign and accompany you to Ho Chi Minh City by chartered vehicle. After approximately two hours of travel, begin a cultural Ho Chi Minh City shore excursion through some of Saigon’s most distinctive religious landmarks, historic sites, colonial architecture, and vibrant local neighborhoods.

Saigon Cultural Highlights

Start at Thien Hau Pagoda, a beautiful Chinese-style temple in the heart of the city’s Chinatown area. Discover its distinctive architecture and learn about the cultural traditions and heritage of Saigon’s Chinese-Vietnamese community.

Continue to Sri Mariamman Temple, one of the city’s most colorful Hindu temples, for a brief photo stop. Then visit the Thich Quang Duc Shrine, an important historical and spiritual memorial that offers a quieter perspective on Vietnam’s modern history.

Continue through central Saigon with an external photo stop at the Independence Palace, followed by the elegant Saigon Opera House and the historic Central Post Office, two iconic reminders of the city’s French colonial heritage.

Flower Market

Enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Ho Thi Ky Flower Market, one of Ho Chi Minh City’s most vibrant local markets. Wander through the colorful flower stalls, observe the lively atmosphere, and capture photos of an authentic side of everyday Saigon that is often missed on traditional sightseeing tours.

If time permits, enjoy a relaxing tea or coffee break at Rose Villa Saigon, a stylish local setting where you can take a short break before beginning the journey back to the port.
